Cameroon Order of Merit

The Cameroon Order of Merit shall comprise the following grades :

Knight (order of merit)

At least 16 (sixteen) years of socio-professional practice

(Law No 2019/7 of 25 April 2019 pages 6 and 7, section 31(1) and 34(2))

Officer (Order of merit)

5(five) years in the grade of Knight

(Law No 2019/7 of 25 April 2019 pages 7, section 34(2))

Commander (cameroon order of merit)

4 (four) years in the grade of Officer

(Law No 2019/7 of 25 April 2019, page 7, section 34(3))

Grand Cordon (cameroon order of merit)

3 (three) years in the grade of Commander
